Thiruda Thirudi (2003) is a Tamil film directed by debutant Subramaniam Siva. The film stars Dhanush and Chaya Singh. This film was a low-budget production and the soundtrack was composed by Dhina. This comedic love story is set in the clashing enemies starring Manicka Vinayagam, Ginja and Illavarasu among others. The soundtrack was a great hit and the song, Manmadharasa.. charted at the top position for 15 weeks running. The movie went on to become a huge hit amidst low expectations and promotions. It was later remade in Telugu as Donga Dongadi with Manoj and Sadha as the protagonists.
